The Going To Happen War For Water

In retrospect, we have seen wars occur for power, freedom/liberation, for equal rights and opportunities, so on and so forth. But I believe, very soon we will start fighting wars for the mere sustenance of life.
Currently 2.7 billion people experience water shortage every year, 1.1 billion people lack access to clean drinking water, more than 800 million people lack access to clean and safe water which in turn results in the deaths of 3.5 million people, owing to poor water hygiene. These are today's facts.
Estimates project that there will be 1.1 billion more mouths to feed by 2025, which will require more 1 trillion cubic centimeters of water.
The water demand is projected to grow by 55% before 2050 and 1 in every 5 countries is to face acute water shortage within the stipulated time(2050).
With this in mind, I say that it is not long before we start killing each other for the basic everyday need(water), it is not long before we turn into the savages that we once were, it is not long before we die in the quench for water.
This is not farce, it is the unhindered truth, not a scare but an alarm so that we manage, protect and save the most precious element of nature that sustains life of all forms, WATER.
